Recommended fabrics for foiling

– Cotton, silk, ultra suede, synthetics, sheers with smooth surfaces and many more fabrics work very effectively with foil.

Flowers created by using chrysanthemum stencil, foil adhesive mixed with blue opaque fabric paint, and gold foil.

– Some high pile or fuzzy naps such as fleece or wool can be foiled, but the image will be blurry. So it's best to use very simple shapes and accept some raggedness around the edges. Please contact us with any questions.
