These beautiful sunflowers were stenciled by my husband, Jim, using Shiva Artist's paintstiks and my Sunflower stencil. He created the small circles by using bubble wrap as the texture for a rubbing.

I often use post-it notes to mask off sections of a stencil. This allows me to isolate specific shapes and combine them in new ways. It's great fun to see how many different designs can originate from stencil shapes!
