Fee Schedule and Classroom Requirements

Effective date: January 1, 2010

WORKSHOP FEE: $650 per day; $350 per half day

Maximum class size: 20 students
Classes over 20 students - $25 additional per student, with maximum 30 students, depending on classroom size.

LECTURE FEE:

$350 for one hour, plus Q&A

TRANSPORTATION:

Full round trip airfare or current IRS mileage reimbursement rate for car expenses, parking fees and cab or shuttle fare to and from airport. The guild is reponsible for any shipping fees related to class supplies.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Full room and board expenses; preference for economy nonsmoking motel accommodations. However, at instructor's discretion, private home accommodations with private room and bath are acceptable.

PAYMENT:

All fees payable immediately upon completion of the last workshop or lecture. This would include any airfare purchased by the instructor, mileage reimbursement, shipping fees, etc.

Note: If airline tickets are purchased in advance by the teacher, and the guild cancels the class less than 30 days prior to the engagement — the guild is responsible for the airfare cost.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR WORKSHOPS

For Luscious Layers, each student must have
- sufficient workspace, including a table at least 30" wide x 6' to 8' long. It is possible for two people to share a table, but it will be cramped.
- Easy access to water source
- Sufficient space for drying samples is essential.
For Paintstik and StarBuilder Inspiration classes, students will be sharing supplies, so two people sharing a table is appropriate.
Teacher requires minimum of 3 worktables.
Other items as specified by teacher beforehand (eg. projector, irons, etc.)
